Tri-colored glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty is a kind of low-temperature colored pottery, which is fired at 800℃ with the white pottery as roughcast and the minerals containing chemical elements of Cu, Fe, Co and Meng as enamel colorant. The enamel colors include yellow, green, white, red and brown. During the course of firing, all the enamel colors are mixed with each other to form bright and colorful artistic works, which are called tri-colored glazed pottery of Tang Dynasty. Tri-colored glazed pottery was firstly fired in Gaozong Period of early Tang Dynasty, when the most outstanding shapes were human figures, horses and camels.
